"We spent three nights here while in the area for a reunion with friends. This is an excellent location if you are in the Lancaster/Hershey area. It is convenient to everything.||||This is an old Victorian house with over-the-top decorations. There are permanent Christmas trees, and lots of vintage dolls and silk flower swags. As it was approaching Halloween, plenty of themed decorations were evident. We had reserved the Amanda room, but as we were the only guests, Doris, the owner, upgraded us to the Victoria room, which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was across the hall (no problem for us), and robes were provided. The place is absolutely spotless. Also, I've been in lots of B&Bs with miniscule baths; this was nice and roomy, and with a small lamp so that there was no problem getting up during the night.||||But breakfast! Doris and her husband Burt will not let you leave hungry. Pancakes and sausage, bacon, eggs and hash browns, French toast and ham for main courses, and accompanied each day by juice, a beautiful fruit plate, and baked goods. It was all wonderful. Doris tells delightful stories of their travels. We find that chatting with owners and other guests is one of the best parts of staying at a B&B. We will definitely return if we come back to this area."
