"My husband and I were planning to stay at Folk farm for a night with our friends. We wanted to visit the middle creek wildlife management area the next day. Unfortunately, shortly after we arrived, a tornado hit the farm very badly... they lost two roofs, fences, lots of trees... electricity was out too. It was the first time we had ever experienced a tornado. This is a lovely and caring family that took care of us during this disaster. Due to the circumstances we could not stay for as long as we planned, but the hosts gave us a 100% refund and made sure we were safe to leave. But really, we are so sad to have missed the chance to experience this lovely bed & breakfast. Hopefully one day we will visit here again! |Thanks again for finding that piece of our car that we lost in the tornado and mailing it to us!!"
