"We've been staying here for many years to see the Sight & Sound Theater presentations. We love the quaint cottages and location, central to attractions, restaurants, and shopping. Over the last few years, the property had gone downhill, to the point where we weren't sure we'd stay here again. But we decided to give it one more try this year, and we were pleasantly surprised at the renovations that are being done. Check-in by phone was quick and easy. The grounds are well maintained. The 3 King cottages we occupied had new paint, LVP flooring, ceramic tile in the bathrooms, and new flat screen TVs. Mattresses, sheets, and towels could be replaced, but they were clean and satisfactory for our 3-night stay. Manager and owner were receptive to our comments and said there are more renovations ongoing. The Lodge is also being renovated. We will stay here again."
