"Working with Arie has been an absolute game changer for my family. Our quality of life has improved drastically since we started working together a year ago. We have two rescue pups with anxiety and reactivity to various triggers. They are the opposite in a lot of ways. One loves people, the other is terrified. One tries to get to other dogs on walks, the other runs in the opposite direction, so it’s been a challenge tailoring the training plan to meet their individual needs, but Arie has done it masterfully! Arie has helped us solve problems, tweak our plan, troubleshoot behaviors, and most incredibly provide emotional support in my moments of desperation that I’m sure other reactive dog parents can understand. When we started training last year my younger dog had an extreme emotional response to the sound of doors so my husband coming home late at night was a terrifying experience for all of us. She’s come a long way. Now we get 2-3 alert barks and a nice greeting. Never thought I’d see the day!!! My boy dog had explosive leash reactivity towards other dogs and now I can walk him with confidence. I’m proud to say we have achieved these and other wins using *only* force-free, positive methods. Arie uses science backed techniques to achieve results. Certain complex behaviors might take time to change, and consistency is key, but the results are deeply rooted and give the dog lasting confidence! It’s worth it.
