"Fernhill was the first to take note of our vision, ideas and needs for the project. Before meeting Doug and Mike we met with several contractors none of which ever provided ideas or a thorough proposal. We were told that they could do whatever we wanted, but never offered renderings, recommendations or solutions to the multiple needs and concerns for the project. Their flexibility in accommodating our likes and needs was superb. We could have never envisioned the project turning out the way it did without their design and expertise. We started wanting to repair a crumbling retaining wall and redoing a useless driveway. We ended up with a one-of-a-kind paver driveway, newly designed functional entrance and a carefully curated landscape second to none in our neighborhood. We were so pleased with the design that we decided to extend the project throughout the entire lot to include a new leveled side yard, new flagstone patio and landscaping.
